Our 7-day Alaska cruise (on Holland America’s Volendam) was a round trip from Vancouver, Canada. We arrived in Vancouver 3 days earlier, spent 1 day and 1 night in Victoria. Also, stayed extra 2 days after the cruise, rented a SUV heading to Whistler via scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway.
Glacier Bay National Park was one of the stops, also one of the highlights. Near the northern end of the Inside Passage, Glacier Bay is one of America's most magnificent national parks. Visiting Glacier Bay is like stepping back into the Little Ice Age—it's one of the few places in the world where people can approach such a variety of massive tidewater glaciers.
Most pictures for this trip were taken in RAW, actually in both RAW and JPEG for easy sorting. Toward the end of trip, I almost ran out the memory card. So, I had to switch to JPEG only.

C'est une magnifique photo, un spectacle rarement vu sur TE!
Bonne netteté, détails et luminosité bien gérés.

Tiffany, I love the subtle colors in the glacier -- purple, pink, blue. Nice POV, with the mountain looming behind. Perhaps a little more contrast would help with the sky, but I suppose if this comes from a JPEG that might be more difficult. Thanks.

Great trip you had, must had been a fine adventure. At least that what comes up from the note and seen on the glacier photo.
Evidence that ice is actually blue, we see it as white. Impressive yet charming.

That's fresh from the oven!! Close enough to savour this amazing glacier in all its natural colours and the wonderful blue tones in some part with the jagged edges of the ice. It must be pretty exciting yet it might even be a little scary in some ways when I think of such magnitude. Excellent composition with good sense of scale provided by the splash and floating ice, and you have handled the lighting well for a better balance exposure. Great lens work indeed and you did your utmost, Congrats
P/S: On your last paragraph: never compromise on quality, I always shoot RAW never on Jpeg. Carry lots of cards and portable hard drive
