Went to Alaska Glacier Bay National Park and found that the effect of global warming is alarming. We could only saw 2 large glacier formations remaining at the area we went passed.
There supposed to be a glacier in this photo a few years back. However, it has retreated back almost to the peak. The melting rate is alarming. We should be more environmentally aware of our style of living that contribute to the global warming effects.

Dark, atmospheric water view of Glacier Bay, revealing the stark landscape and retreating glacier.
Unfortunately, many of our powerful industries, especially oil companies deny 'global warming'. A decade ago, presidential candidate Al Gore was ridiculed for presenting scientific evidence and a expensive propaganda campaign including Bush's brother controlling the State of Florida and deleting votes, saw his narrow defeat.
Currently the Keystone Coal Tar project will destroy an area of Canada the size of Florida (ironic?)
And require an environmental destructive pipeline the length of the U.S. to the oil refineries in Texas.
We must work together to utilize renewable energy sources such as solar and wind to help save our Earth.
