Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken at the annual World Ice Art Festival in Fairbanks. I beleive that this piece won the abstract catagory. The actual size of the ice block that the peice was carved from was 3 x 5 x 8 feet. The blocks of ice are cut from a pond in town which is said to be some of the clearest in the world. This is a must see event!!
