Photographer’s Note

Woke up late on one Alaska December morning when the sun has finally came out, looked out window - everything outside was covered with a thick glittering snow-frost, the sun coloring it pink...
this is that kind of a day that makes you smile for no obvious reason and enjoy life the way little kids do - diving deep into the outside world without hesitation.
Maybe only people who live above 60 degrees North can understand what I mean :)

Hi Olga,

I really like this shot, the way the sun is lighting up the trees is beautiful and provides a much needed colour boost to this scene. Great sharpness, good POV and nicely exposed.
