Quiet now; icy fingers glide over, sheltering fragile skin from the biting wind. Muffled whispers float up proclaiming,
sleep, sleep,
the fire glows strong.

What a beautiful composition, to accompany your rousing lines! Bravo!

Very cool. The birds really make the shot.

The beauty is often in the simplicity.
I don't know, Mister Wallish, it might be my special feeling of the last two days. For reasons of my own, I very touched by your photo. But words evade me. Or, better to say, that they would be too personal.
So let me just say that I am touched.
To fly and go away is tempting at times...

Now...
What in bloody hell I suppose to say about this photo...Eh ?
A beautiful composition...?
Very cool...?
I'm touched ?

OK... OK...
I'll say it:
Even though I'm a very cool guy, I am really touched by this beautiful composition...

Happy puppy ?

Chris...
I really like it!

Truly and honestly - liked it.

Hi Chris,

Coming on visiting your latest shots, I've seen your "Coney Island Lunch" shot and I'm still fascinated by it. Hope to catch one like that one day.

This is what I call a moody shot, taken in pretty cool weather conditions. What an improbable timing, where birds formation mirror the shape of the hill. Fascinating natural mystery...

Good contrast between bold patch of black juxtaposed to delicate details of branches and flying things.

Is that a leprechaun next to the tree? That's where they usually hanging out...

Cheers!

André

Hi Christopher,
This is very neat! Simple and beautifull. It does feel gloomy and wintery at will.
I like it!

Love the cold wintery feel from the trees.. Migratory birds flying where it is warmer. Heavy thick grain to make up sky.

Hello Chris
Long long time, no see or hear, my friend! I am so glad to see that you've posted quite a few shots during the time I last saw your album. Amazing shot with all the grains...the neat diagonal, the formation of the flying birds, the dark blustery winter mood. A surprisingly short but a poetic note. I hope you & family are keeping well. How's life otherwise? Missed our exchanges a lot!
With Warm Regards
Angshuman
