Following up the photo I posted on Sunday, here is one from the sunset that evening.
The photo was taken looking northwest. The bridge on the left side is the southbound lane of U.S. 41 while the bridge on the right side of the photo is the northbound lane, also U.S. 41.

If you make photos for a living, you must be good and must know what you are doing. Since I am an amateur, what can I say about your technique - I don't even know most of the technical words, anyway. So here is what I like about this photo in plain English: The colors (do I detect a hint of HDR?), blues and copper tones go well together. The lines that banisters and the bridges make.
OK, now this is where I don't agree with you: The framing. The two palm trees on either side interrupt the scene. If I were the photographer, I would include only halves of the trunks of the palms, but that's me.
I read your rules of photography, I agree with some of them, half-agree with others. I would like to take more time discussing your 18 points but the kids want to have Mexican, so I'll take them out. If you are interested in the discussion, please reply and we'll get a discussion going.
