Hi Shelly,

I wonder why you and Vedrana celebrate a year on TE with flowers, perhaps it's because women like to receive flowers on special occasions or is that a little too Freudian? What ever the reason this is a lovely yet simple image with good contrasting colours, blue and yellow. A fine capture to celebrate your year on TE, well done and many congratulations Shelley, I'm looking forward to seeing your photographs for many more years.

Hi Shelly,
You will never go wrong with yellow against blue they are the most complimentary colors found in nature. Striking detail to the yellow beauties and a fine bit of green to contrast with the blue. Excellent photo and congrats on your first year which I have really enjoyed your comments and of course your excellent photos that seem to get better by the day.

Excellent shapness of the roses makes them so real, and the blurred BG with that contrasting blue sky makes it timeless. Happy you :)

What a superb macro shot of the flowers, arranged to to accentuate the colors of the Swedish flag. Good choice of vantage point, excellent colors and definition.

Congratulations on completing your first year on Trekearth, and may you have many many more. Most importantly, there really is a marked improvement between the earlier photos and the latest; certainly in the presentation your work exhibits great improvement, especially in this understated frame which is extremely effective. Hi Shelly, A wonderful close up of these stunning yellow flowers, the shallow DOF is perfect & they stand out beautifully against the blue sky, there is a little noise in the sky, however this far from detracts from this gorgeous shot, kind regards Wilson.
