I got to go home over Easter while the boys were out of school. The weather, except for this one day, was horrendous. Cold, windy, rain... But this day was wonderful. The picture was taken in the park in my hometown, just a few blocks from where I used to live. It was heaven being home.

Hello Shelly,
This is a very nice Spring landscape photo. Excellent composition. From my point of view, there is too much contrast. This is probably caused from the fustrating process of preparing our photos for the TE forum. Good job!
Stan

Nice composition, colors and shadows.
Just too much contrast. The original image must be wonderful.
Regards.

Hi Shelly,
What a wonderful park to spend your afternoon. I love seeing everything in bloom on this fine day. Lovely colors and details and I guess you need some gloomy weather to get all this spring time blossoms started. We had 8-inches of wet slushy snow and then 40 mile winds and a heavy rain yesterday and today.
Regards, Tom

Bonjour, mon amie Shelly,
Le vent qui secoue
Les vergers flottants,
Fait sur notre joue
Neiger le printemps.

J'aime quand la nature renaît, c'est toujours un ravissement.
Très jolie vue printanière.
Amitiés.

Hi Shelly, A lovely park scene with great colours & light, very well composed with the branches coming in from the right & the bench just off centre near the bottom, superb POV & TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Shelly,

An impeccably chosen vantage point places the two most prominent trees approximately 1/3 from each side. The interplay of light and shadow, and the colors and definition are just as flawless. So this is Huntington, WV. (If Virginia hadn't blown it in the Civil War, they would still comprise one state.)

Warm regards, and thank you for your gracious words on "Leonardo's Dream."
