Photographer’s Note
This is the Greek Orthodox church in my hometown. I have taken a lot of shots of it because I love the domes, but this is one I was pleased with how it turned out. It was one of the only nice days I had the time and opportunity to wander around and take photos. I have always been fascinated by the three domes and I was happy with the angle I got on this one. The sun was setting, so I had trouble with the light and shadow, but I hope you enjoy it.

HI Shelly
Hoping you had a pleasant and happy thanksgiving.
I am always attracted to churches, synagogues or temples of any religion. Their architecture is always fascinating.
You did a great job of composing this one as it gave you good results.

Shelly,
The architecture is great and you have presented it nicely. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The angle of the shot is great giving the scene a nice sense of depth and direction. The deep blue sky provides excellent contrast for the shot.

Hi, Shelly,
at first sight this looked very cool and upright - then the warmth of the shadows on the right, the roof tiles, and the sunlit house on the left made it sing. Well done!

Bonjour Shelly,
Une bien étrange architecture, faite de briques, qui parait assez impressionnante notamment avec ces dômes de couleur et ces vitraux de style gothiques!
Je pense que c'est une construction relativement récente..
Amicalement

Hi, Shelly.
So, this is your hometown in WV... COOL!
And this sure is a pretty striking architectural display, captured in full glory thanks to an impressive angle. Light and color are splendid, the shadowplay very subtle, truly a fine presentation, TFS! Have a nice weekend, I'll see you soon. HUGS,
Fulvio.

Hi, Shelly -
Good work with difficult lighting; the sense of the hour comes through. There is a bit of perspective tilt, though.
Best,
Dan

Hi Shelly,
The highgly detailed yellow brick is seen in exceptionally rich late day light that hightlights its wonderfully sharp details.
The vivid late Nov blue sky is the perfect compliment to the yellow brick while the green onion domes contrast brilliantly.
Welcome back after your long holiday.

Hi Shelly
Nicely done indeed. The exposure is excellent as we can see detail in both the shadow and lit side. The domes show well against the the blue sky.

Ahoj Shelly,
what a wonderful sharpness! The blue around the church makes
this picture so interesting. If I would not have so much of
studying and work, I go there straight away. Especially when
the visa to USA is question of the past for the Czech republic
citizens. Have a nice weekend, Ivan

Hi Shelly!
You found a good angle to present this impressive building.
It looks a bit oversharpened.
Good light and amazing contrast with this wonderful blue sky.

hello Shelly,
this one shouts from the thumbnail.Your excellent POV provides a good composition as well as a great view of the church. The colours are very attractive and its nice and sharp giving good detail.
Thanks for your kind sritique of my "pen pals" pic. It wasn't very sharp but I liked it anyway. I've not been on TE much recently which I am sorry about because it is my favourite Trek site.
