Photographer’s Note
Greenbottom Wildlife Management Area.... Home to several species of migratory birds, deer, lynx, reptiles, butterflies..... and a beautiful place to visit and commune with nature. And how I wish I were there. I am so homesick. And I just want to go home.

This view is just awesome, Shelly!
A shot that does full justice to West Virginia, one of the most beautiful and pristine states in the whole U.S.A
Perfectly framed, superb clarity, and those blues and greens are simply BRILLIANT!!!
Have a great day, TFS!
Hugs,
Fulvio.

Hello Shelly,
A photo from early July presenting the placid, bucolic West Virginia countryside. The composition, colors and resolution are evocative of the work of a 19th century landscape master. The frame is highly complementary.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Bonjour Shelly,
C'est tout à fait le coin rêvé pour passer un doux moment paisible et de solitude.
La composition est très agréable. Les branches d'arbre sur le côté droit et la grande place laissée au ciel nous donne l'impression d'un superbe tableau de maître.
Amicalement
Jean-Luc

Hello Shelly:
A well-balanced image, especially at the level of the lake water. Fine shades, good handling of light and within a very appropriate, perhaps for a good day for camping.
I like this landscape, no doubt

Dear Shelly,
It's such a lovely photo, I am sad that it makes you feel homesick. Maybe that little bird in the middle of this sky will fly down to cheer you up.
Hugs,
Winifred

Hi, Shelly -
This is not what I think of as West Virginia! Lovely, serene, and FLAT. By West Virginia standards. Nice balance of elements, and sharp but not over-sharpened. That thing in the sky is a bird, I think, but it looks like a speck of dirt on the lens or the monitor, and could be cloned out.
Best,
Dan

Hello Shelly. Nicely captured from low angle of this stunning view. The tall tree and the water balances well in the frame. Nice pleasing view and thanks for sharing. Regards. Jusni

Bonjour Shelly,
ambiance très calme dans des couleurs naturelles. Le genre de photo qui repose vraiment et adéquate pour un fond d'écran.
Atttention aux encadrements trop élaborés qui détournent un peu l'attention.
Amicalement.
Daniel.

Hello Shelly,
A lovely landscape, and probably the favourite of the migrating birds as they love to take a rest and refuel in places like this!
A pleasant composition with the tree and wild flowers in front, all topped by a fine blue sky...
Greetings,

Shelly,
This is a well composed shot of this beautiful scene. The tree on the left provides nice framing for the shot. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.

HI Shelly
That one respects the rule of thirds perfectly. The point of view is very good as well as the colors. The blue and the green fit well together. Cheers!
Best regards
Denis!
