Photographer’s Note

I have just recently returned from another trip home to West Virginia. It was mind boggling. Temperatures in the 70's, plenty of sunshine, fresh breezes. Simply phenomenal weather for the Ohio Valley in July. It's usually hotter than blazes, humid, rainy. Everyone was amazed by this uncommon weather. I can't remember a July like this one. It was wonderful. Hope you are all well and enjoying the summer wherever you are.

How are you? Nice shot, full of colours, flowers. well, our july was not so good, rather rai ny and with strorm and winds, sometimes floods. Let's hope it will be better in August. Another summer will finish soon...

Hi Shelly,
There is nothing like a Canadian high pressure system to drain the humidity out of the summer sky.
Thos lovely puffy clouds and contrast blue sky makes for dreamy photos especially when you can get such an interesting foreground of complimentary yellow flowers and contrast green trees.

The fine light renders lovely colours, making the flowers really look their best!
