Photographer’s Note
I just got back from a week at home and it was heavenly. Flowers and trees blooming, more violets than I've seen in years, family, friends. It just went by far too quickly. We had some wild weather, too. Sun and warmth (enough for a picnic in the park), rain and wind, freezing temperatures and snow... It was crazy.
I love my hometown. Old homes, some of the original brick streets, friendly people - COMMUNITY. So different from where we live now.
I'd say the owners of the home with the buffalo in their front yard are MAD Marshall University fans (there are a LOT of them there). The football team is the Marshall Thundering Herd and their mascot is a (you guessed it) buffalo.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter and I am going to take a couple of days to recover from my "vacation"...LOL
Hope you enjoy this.

Hello Shelly,
A pretty composition of these lovingly cared for gardens. I like the diagonal perspective and the lovely clear tones. The flag fluttering in the breeze is a nice bonus. Happy Easter to you.

Hello Shelly
Beaucoup de charme et de couleur , et le petit clin d'oeil du bisou fixant le photographe.
Ces maisons sont très belles en effet, et donnent envie de de s'y reposer un instant.
Amicalement.

Hi Shelly
Good to see you back. Hope you had a happy Easter. It sounds like you did. I like the array of housing styles in these old brick homes and the placement of the little buffalo in the right hand corner.

Hi Shelly,
No place like home!
Beautiful spring gardens with the Marshall Buffalo leading the eye to the spring flowers tha lay on a beautiful carpet of lush green lawn and finally to the lovely row of weil built brick homes.
Clear crips color and lots of depth to this journey to where the heart is.

Hello! :)
I'd say apart the Buffalo, it's sweetly, lovely and originally an American shot!
Congratz and all the best.

You live in a very fine neighbourhood indeed! Beautiful houses and lovely gardens in front of your door. You are lucky. If you saw where I live! (:-
Anyway this is a well composed and pleasant photo even if it was prompted by your affection for your home town and you didn't have to go far to shoot it! (:-
The colours are so appealing, especially those of the flowers and sky and the whole photo vibrates with the spring light and life.
Ciao,

Hi Shelly,
Pay attention Shelly, the bison will charge !!! A very beautiful vision on your birthplace, the colors judiciously saturated emphasize these splendid gardens well. Spring is really a beautiful season. Thank you Shelly.
With all my friendships and a very good WE,

Hi, Shelly.
Always good to get back home, ain't nothing that can beat that feeling. And what a lovely shot, one that's got springtime written all over it! Y'all have a great day, I'm awful busy with work right now and trying to catch up some with all I had to miss lately, but I reckon to be back posting in a week or so. Hugs from Holland,
Fulvio.
