Photographer’s Note
I took this last summer on a beautiful summer day from the second story porch at my mom's. I thought I'd post something bright and sunny, because I'm sick of this cold, windy weather. I had thought spring had arrived here, but, oh, was I wrong and I am really tired of being cold. :))) Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Shelly,
As we speak it is 12F with a -9 wind chill.
This does speak to summer with long afternoon shadows.
Very clear colors and sharpness to this sweaty scene.
It's suppose to get up to the mid 40s later this week so we will have alot of mud but that's March.
Regards, Tom

Hi, Shelly.
Lovely sight, sunny, colorful, and sharp! As far as I'm concerned an excellent idea for a post. I can't tell you how much we're longing for a bit of sunshine over here... Have a wonderful day, I'll be seeing you. Hugs,
Fulvio.

Hi, Shelly.
A useful reminder that the sun is hot. The path at the top left makes the picture, paralleling the golden arms. I like the way the man's belt and the girl's shoulders continue the edge of the grass and the crack in the path, and the way the edge of the broken stone at the right leads down to their saddles. Well caught.
Yes, it was like spring here too last week - but wild winds today and forecast of more cold and maybe snow - but not so bad as the last lot fortunately.
Keep warm,
Winifred

Hello Shelly,
I share your feeling about the arrival of spring. The bright sunshiny day in your photo is warming. Great POV. I like the right angles formed by the sidewalks. Nice contrast of color and management of light.
Kind regards,

Hello Shelly,
it seems most of the people (myself included) is sick of this cold and long winter... and we are not used to it 'cos generally we have mild and sunny winters...
If your intention was to bring a bit of bright light in our screens (and maybe in our heart too) you did succede. The brightness is the first thing that one percieve. And then of course the beauty and thoughtlessness of youth. Good composition. Simpatica!

Hi Shelly,
It is a nice shot, I won't deny it, but looking at it I feel more and more depressed. Here in Luxemburg it is still cold and wet and the only flowers are in the hous , in a vase on the table. Last week we were visiting in Belgium near the coast and...it was cold and wet as you can see from my ecent postings.
Take care

Hi Shelly,
Before I read your note and saw the date, I thought maybe warm weather had arrived in West Virginia before it got to Virginia. Alas, this is a warm day in July (my son's birthday, in fact). Very good composition, colors and resolution, and the always engaging personal note. Many thanks for a preview of the summer,
Bulent

Hi Shelly,
This is sunny enough and you'll be getting more of the sun before long. The image is sharp and clear with framing that is pleasing to me. A fine summer mood captured here and TFS.
Warmest regards,

Hello Shelly,
I have already brought out my bike, but frankly it is too early with frosty nights and slippery roads!
A well composed biking scene, sharp fine details and colours are nicely reproduced...
This is a fine summer reminder!
Greetings,
Pablo -
