Photographer’s Note

As I have mentioned, there's not much to take photos of around here this time of year. We don't get snow, so I can't do any neat winter shots. It's mostly just brown. I took this last summer at the Geenbottom Wildlife Management Area back home. I liked that gold strip they'd mowed alongside the lake as a trail of sorts. Well, I'm just kind of fond of shots from home. Sigh....

Magnifique coin tranquille et beau bord de lac avec les nénuphars et quelques fleurs. J,aime bien les herbes plus longues en avant-plan et bande jaune à gauche. Moi aussi je n'ai pratiquement pas pris de photos cet automne, pas assez de neige.

Lovely shot from a kinder season with both warmth and colors.
Love the wispy clouds in the pretty blue sky that contrast nicely with the gentely rolling green hills that reflect in the lake.

Dear Shelly:

Some time ago it did not come into your gallery, and recent photos, it pleases me greatly.

The low point of view, there was a large depth of field, with a horizon well balanced and beautiful colors.

I like the composition with aquatic plants in the foreground. Excellent landscapes of you, as always

Undoubtly the golden stripe at the left is fine, but I like also the beautiful plants and lotus flowers and floating leaves in the foreground, they give a good sense of depth, and of course the sky too is attractive. So you managed to get a good composition anyway!
