New River Gorge Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taking the 200' walkway down this is where you end up. Overlooking this amazing gorge! Takes your breath away the beauty of it. It was almost 100 degrees that day with alot of humidity so the mist/fog was unavoidable. Tried to elimating it with photo editing ..this is what I came up with. Hope you like it!

Such photographs are good for documentary..........since only the photographer who took the photograph realize the beauty of it. I have lotsa such photographs but don't post them.

Hello Donna,
I like your POV; we can tell how large the gorge is compared to the tiny bridge spanning the water. It's too bad it was such a hazy day, but that's reality! I've had the same problem in the intense heat up here, too. :-)

That's a great shot Donna. I went to school near there and love the geography of the region. You've captured it well. Too bad it was a little hazy but you framed the landmarks well. Bridge really gives the view a good sense of scale!

Keep up the good work. I like the frames you've included on all your shots.

Hi donna,

A good POV of the gorge, the bridge and of the forest taken under foggy condition. The photo has a good composition and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Donna,
I really like the the green and the bridge the way they give definition and lead the eye toward the distant softer color.
