Photographer’s Note
The 2008 Norfolk Skyline photographed from Portsmouth Virginia looking north to Norfolk. During the holiday season (Thanksgiving to New Years Day) the skyline is illuminated with thousands of tiny lights lining the buildings along the waterfront district. This is an annual tradition in Norfolk that has been happening since the mid-1980's. It is quite a beautiful site, I truly believe Norfolk has one of the prettiest waterfronts on the eastern seaboard of the United States. This photo prints as large as 150" wide and I have framed one as large as 44" high x 115" long. Looked great!
Note: I've posted this image larger than I nmormally do because I want viewers to see the detail as much as possible. PLEASE respect my copyright and do not mis-use this photograph, I can get pretty cranky when this happens.

Hi Tim,
Well composed and a nice skyline photo! You show well to us a night view with reflection. And, it's very interesing for me the color contrast between the sky with deep blue and blue sea zone of foreground that gets black.
