Photographer’s Note

This is a view from the hilltop picnic area overlooking the apple orchard and part of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Stribling Orchard is located in Markham Virginia and traditionally each Sept/Oct our family goes there to pick apples, buy apple butter and honey and various jams they produce from the fruit grown on their property. This particular day I was picking peaches and was struck by the scenery including the tube slide on the left built up on a pile of hay for the children who come for the Fall activities.
