Photographer’s Note
This is the Fisrt Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. It is among the best early 20th century black churches in Virginia; the church has grown and prospered among Norfolk's large and active black Baptist community. I believe this architecture is in the "Colonial Revival" style and was completed in 1916.
