Saturday, on my birthday my son Michael and I went on a rural neighborhood photo expedition to see what we could find. This wonderful gateway to a secret garden is located at a conference center called Airlie in Warrenton, Virginia. In the Spring it was a riot of color with pink cherry blossoms and many kinds of flowering plants. We had a nice snow last week but you would never know it from this picture which was taken yesterday. The snow is melted and you can again see the remains of Fall leaves. It was great to wander around and just enjoy highlights of the area while finding fun things to photograph together. Thanks Michael.
