Second shot from the painful hike to Dark Hollow Falls, the most visited falls in Shenandoah National Park.
I chose a darker close up of the falls. Although they are 70ft high I zoomed in the bottom part.
However the stars of the shot are the fallen wet leaves, each one individually sharpened in phtoshop CS2 using the photokit sharpener brushes.

Wow Nikos! This is even better than the previous one. The light on the rocks helps to give more detail there, and the increased prominence of the leaves brings some more of that beautiful colour into the shot. Superb!

You've captured this shot from a great angle, with a perfect exposure. No suggestions for this perfect posting!

Your leave sharpening worked out just fine. The contrast to the stones is excellent and makes a fine foreground. I like it.

Another stunning shot of these falls Nikos. The light falling on the foreground rocks is beautiful and as you say yourself the leaves take this image up to another dimension. The motion blur is just right and it is amazing how well you have handled the difficulties of the light on the water. Excellent PP work too.

A nice warm feel to this shot. The blurred water is just right, and it's sometimes always better to focus in on a small part of the composition than all of it. The technique works excellently here. Well done!

Hello Nikos, you have another stunning waterfall following in the footsteps of your previous post. Here the red leaves in the foreground are even more spectacular than before.

Hi Nikos, this photo is very well done also with a different pov, more centered on the red leaves.
Very well done.
Have a great day, Yan

Hi Nikos. Indeed the wet leaves and close framing really make for a great shot. I'm not aware of the sharpening method you used. I see nobody in the shot was it really this empty on a weekend or were you just lucky? Wonderful shot Nikos!
