Photographer's Note
The Roanoke city market has been designated one of America's premier outdoor spaces and that is never more true as at the height of the harvest. The choices there put our supermarkets to shame... and even if you have to pay a little more, it goes to the farmer, not some corporation. Always a big plus in my book.
