Photographer’s Note

Colorful balloons at Duck Race Festival. Those balloons were for kids. But I was attracted by the colors and how they were kept. All balloons were trying to rise above the roof of tent. I took the shot from below.

Big Brother Big Sister Duck Race: This festival is held at Browns Island at the bank of James river to help support the orginizations that pair mentors up with children who need a postive role model. People can buy a small yellow toy duck (the cute one!!) to help support the program. At the end of the festival, all the ducks that are purchased are places in large net, hung on Crane and dropped from height into the canal and "race" to the finish line (the ducks move by flow of water. Their are various prizes awarded to the first 16 ducks (and their buyer) that cross the finish line. First one own Toyota Prius this year. Its not a traditional festival but its fun. Various activities go on for whole day.

Hi Rajendra,

No doubt that this image is too good.
High sharpness distracting the image.
Framing superb if you remove the uncovered are on top with frame color. And also if you write a note about "Duck Race Festival" then that would be help full to us.

I don't mean to hurt you I just want to tell you what makes this excellent shot to not be excellent.

Hi, Rejanedra -

An interesting POV with a nice mix of colors. The WS does improve it. You have the eye, which is the critical part. Technique is something you can learn.

Let's see more from Nepal.

Dear Engineer,

You have posted only a few photos but the quality of of those photos are impressive. It must be carefully selected from your album. Enginner is regid in calculation with factor of safety in mind but you also have a colourful and artistic mind as well. I admire you.
