My 3rd TE-meetings happened in Virginia with Atalay Bulent.
This is Fredericksburg, a hometown of Bulent. In WS you can see our common photo.
Fredericksburg is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia located 49 miles (79 km) south of Washington, D.C., and 58 miles (93 km) north of Richmond. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 24,286. The city had grown to 25,691 in 2011, a gain of 5.8%, making it the fastest-growing locality in Virginia. The Bureau of Economic Analysis combines the city of Fredericksburg with neighboring Spotsylvania County for statistical purposes. Fredericksburg is part of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Located near where the Rappahannock River crosses the Fall Line, Fredericksburg was a prominent port in Virginia during the colonial era. During the Civil War, the town, located halfway between the capitals of the opposing forces, was the site of the Battle of Fredericksburg and Second Battle of Fredericksburg, preserved in part as the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park.
Tourism is a major part of the economy, with approximately 1.5 million people visiting the Fredericksburg area annually, including the battlefield park, the downtown visitor center, events, museums and historic sites.

I can see why this place is popular with tourists, this shot indicates that the town has maintained its character well, and it looks like a very nice place. Certainly there are lots of interesting buildings along this commercial strip. Thanks as always

Le petit centre ville américain typique avec toutes ces boutiques le long de la grande rue avec des stationnements des deux côtés et de belles affiches. Et partout le drapeau américain.

It's great that you got to meet Bulent. I really like this view of his city. It has such a charming feeling, and it seems more like a small town. I like the old-fashioned drugstore sign in the foreground, and the older facades. There are lots of colorful details to enjoy.

Nobody could overlook a photo like this among the 18 thumbnails of the page. Lots of colours or an unusual shape will always catch attention. This one deserves to be seen at a larger size thanks to the many fine details among the signs, lampposts and windows. It is also shot from a good POV and the light is superb.
You are becoming like Malgo, always meeting other members wherever you go. I am sure you enjoyed your journey.

The colors here are fantastic, plus the shapes -- the red-orange diamond and the green "T" work great together! I suspect the saturation has been enhanced a bit, but if so, you have done so without "going too far." Well done!

Good morning Serghei,
A new picture, a new TE meeting :) Great to see you and Bulent, glad you had fun! I've only traveled back East to NYC, so I've only seen these kinds of scenes through pictures, t.v. or movies. I love the small town charm this conveys, especially with the old corner drug store right up front.
A nice composition which shows us quite a bit, but it's layed out very well to capture the intimacy of the local township. Bright, colorful and detailed from side to side. I was hoping to see something like this from the time you spent in Virginia and D.C., so this is a welcome treat! A lot of local character and appeal for sure. Stay warm my friend, it's still around 30c here. :)
My best wishes,

I find such streets in North America very interesting and picturesque for photography.
Your composition here is well considered and executed.I like how you close-up and framed the scene. Many different details and vivid, well contrasting colors make the graphical layout of the image really superb!
