Reaching Towards the Sky
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Some snow-laden trees in my neighborhood in Virginia after a hefty snow storm. I like the way the sky looked and the trees up against it, so I thought I'd share. Had to crop off a tiny bit on the right side and sharpened it. |

Nice abstract composition. Exposure is excellent. It shows you have a photographic eye for things around you. Well done and worthy of more attention here.

Now that I've been on TE a while, I've noticed that for viewer impact this kind of subject matter usually requires a close-up view with some depth. This kind of 2-dimensional shot from a distance doesn't work as well. (I know because I've tried.) Take a look at something like this or this for ideas.
