Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken from the Franklin Mountains overlooking El Paso toward Juarez, Mexico.
It's a pretty old shot I decided to play with to see if I could get it on TE in presentable condition. I'm a novice when it comes to negative scanning and convinced that I'm not getting the best out of my scanner because I barely know how to use many of the features.
This image has been printed many, many times. Depending on where it was printed, the color may be slightly different and I have seen it printed where the clouds around the lightning bolts are more visible. As time premits, I may continue to play with it to see if I can get a better image.

Wow..you really were in the right place at the right moment!
POV, subject and composition are very nice!
In my opinion you could try to reduce brightness and contrast to make the picture a little softer (no matter if clouds are not clearly visible anymore..)
Thank you for sharing.

Hello gary
I know the feeling of trying to scan negatives. Anyway your image is very original, kind of looks like a drive in, the lightning is the show on the big screen. Nice shot.
regards
Jimmy
