Photographer's Note

Roads always give me a feeling of endlessness because you usually don’t see the terminus. I find myself pondering the history that has transpired on that road or path. Who has walked there, what life changing events occurred there, what has this road or path heard and seen. Were are all those cars going on this street, only the road knows. I have begun taking a series of photos exploring this idea of history being witnessed by the static things (building, streets, trees, etc…) in our every day surroundings.
