Ransom Canyon is located 12 miles east of Lubbock, Texas. It is on the North Fork of the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River near Buffalo Springs Lake.

This weird looking building is the brainchild of Robert Bruno (www.robertbruno.com). It sits on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the lake. Bruno has been working on this house for almost 3 decades, and it is almost complete.

It is made up of 110 tons of steel, and when finished it will have about 3,000 sq. ft. of living space. The steel house was also featured on HGTV.

I think your composition of the photo here is quite good, the thing that is letting it down is lighting. The sky is blown out and the lighting on the building is not overly flattering. I think to make this work, early morning or late afternoon would be much more pleasing. Certainly this does appear to be an interesting house.
