Photographer’s Note
I went to the college arboretum today at lunch and found these water lillies. I believe them to be Rose Arey. They require more than six hours of sun a day for best results. Also you must use large containers or muddy bottom pond. They have an aggressive root system and need room to grow. The flower size is 7-8 inches and the leaf size is 9-10 inches. These flowers have a very wonderful odor to them.
It was very cloudy today. I was glad this turned out. I cropped it slightly and used neat image to clean up the noise. Added frame.

Beautiful portrayal of these deceptively beautiful plants. Unfortunately, they really clog up the waterways unless controlled, but you are right, they do smell wonderful. Well done on this composition.

Hello John: This flower is my favorite one, the colors of the flowers are fantastic, the opening of the petals, the center of the flower, is perfectly a charming yellow, cocktail with the green of the leaves, this color and tone is only, beautiful. I like the reflection this it is a touch of freshness and movement to the tranquility of the water. Cordial greetings. Excellent picture. *Ninfa Urania*
