Photographer’s Note
A thunder head being built by mother nature. Storms are on the way.
I like the contrast of colors and the contrast between the hardness of the building and the soft organic feeling of the cloud.
Tech: I used my polorized sunglasses over the lens of the camera to clearly capture the cloud. I have to set my white balance to fluorescent lights to account for the amber tint of the glasses. I adjusted the brightness/contrast slightly with photoshop.

Very good composition with strong contrasts and a well saturated brick colour

Brilliant photo, and how wise of you to use the filter at hand, your sunglasses. I agree on the things you like, contrast in texture and fantastic sky! Congratulations.

Le contraste et le relief des nuages est fantastique ! J'aime beaucoup la simplicité et les couleurs de cette composition. Le cadrage est également parfait. Super John !

Very nice elementary composition. Just a part of a building and some clouds - but the combination is very strong -the dramatic way the clouds are displayed is largely due to this. The picture would be even stronger if you corrected the perspective distortion.
Very good job, John.

Very beautiful and sharp cloud. Perfect contrast between big light fluffy cloud and rectangular fixed house. Very well!

Lovely shot. Again, great contrasts not only in terms of colour and texture, but context too. Polorized sunglasses is a great trick!
About perspective distortion, I agree that the imperfection could be a little distracting, but I do like the skewed effect. It makes the picture all the more surreal.
