Photographer’s Note
I whish I knew more about this beautiful beetle. I woke him up this morning on my way to work. He was only about as big as a penny. He seemed to have been sleeping in the center of the flower. What a nice place to sleep. It must smell wonderful.
If anyone knows anything about beetles please let me know what type this is. Enjoy!
Tech: I cropped quite a bit, sharpened, and adjusted the contrast and brightness.

Hi John, great detail on your picture. Looks like the beetle just had a feast with all that nectar on his body. Good work.

Beautiful shot John. Amazing details, very clear and sharp. The little beetle looks like he's in pollen heaven, covered with the stuff! Very nice work. Great photo.
