Photographer’s Note

I was about to leave the house today at lunch when I noticed this little butterfly. I chased him around for a minute or two and he settled back where I had first seen him. I had to move very slowly so as not to scare him off again. I was lucky to get a few good shots of him. I tried to identify which species it is but had no luck. I am in east Texas so if anyone knows what species this is I would be interested to know.
I cropped slightly, sharpened once after reducing the image size. Thats it...

I really like you're in D. O. F. . I tried a similar butterfly but could not get close . I am not sure what kind of butterfly buddy if you check google you may find out ?
It is a wonderful capture , congratulations !
