Photographer’s Note
I still have some pictures to show you about how pretty my school is. I love its architecture a lot. And you also can tell that I dont go anywhere, just to stick around the campus, that is why I always have pictures from my campus.
Texas Tech University has 30,000 students, and it began in 1923. This building is belong to chemistry department.

Very nice shot. I like the Greek letter spelling on the left. I think the arcade could be a bit sharper though. Some of the details can't really be made out all that well. Did you use a tripod for this?

It is a very nice picture but I think you pushed a bit too much the pp. The corridor is noisy and lacking definition. However, I like the over all picture, in particular the building silhouette against the white sky.

Ciao Sothy,
I like a lot the profile in backlight of the building and is very pleasant also the geometry of the photo. The enough long time and the brightness that you have used have produced a beautiful red light inside the building and the ISO 800 has not disturbed the image. Well done, my teacher.
Paolo.

Hi Sothy
Real good compo here and the white sky actually works good here making the arcade pop out of the screen with strong perpective and depth.. the man walking is well placed right in the middle... Good light.
Cheers

Hey man,
Looks like this pic isn't living up to your expectations. I pulled it into CS2 and did a check on how level it was. According to photoshop it was about a degree offline. This pic is full of lines and angles I think that is why it didn't score as much as your normal pics do. It's a great shot and I love the pov and the warm color of the lights, not to mention the frame, its very unique. I can show you how I did the check if you want.
Later,
Mel

Not quite up to your usual high standard, Sothy, I must say. It's a bit unsharp, and is it tilted or is that the effect of converging verticals? I like the composition though, with the perspective down the corridor and the outline of the architecture against the sky. Good idea to include a person walking down the corridor, too.
