Photographer’s Note

Taken at a park in Lubbock, Texas. This year we have the highest rainfall compared to any other years. This park has a lot of trees. There is nothing interesting to take pictures on the ground. So I was thinking a little bit where to take pictures that would be interesting. Almost about 30mn before I got to go home, I came up with the reflection idea. And here it is. Taken using the 200mm is an advantage since it gives no distant view. And interesting to me that it looks like a painting.

Nice color and great reflection. The shallow depth of field makes a great watercolor effect.

You have an eye-catching view into the water and reflections are one of my favorite subjects. The colors are dreamy and mesmerizing.

I always like these impressionistic reflection images .. and this is a beautiful dreamscape of one .. I find the combination of the diffusion with the high contrast really interesting.

hope you enjoy the workshop .. I just had to see it that way.

Hi Sothy!
This is a nice reflection. We notice the trees and that kind of red colour, guess it's the reflection of the sun.A good idea that resulted very well.Colours are really good and you're right, it looks like a painting.
