Photographer’s Note
Today a picture of one of the skylines of Houston Downtown.
The Houston Skyline District is a geographic area encompassing several blocks of downtown Houston.
The term 'Skyline District' originated when downtown Houston was divided into a number of smaller districts: the Main Street Corridor, the Market Square Historical District, and the Houston Theater District.
The collection of skyscrapers in this district creates one of the largest skylines in the United States. Most of Houston's major modern buildings can be found in this district, including the two tallest buildings in both Houston and Texas. These buildings are home to the headquarters of various multinational businesses and financial institutions.

A wonderful abstract composition that has beauty in simplistic form. The idea to shoot upwards and present in vertical format was an excellent idea.

Sergio,
Very cool shot and POV, I feel a little dizzy already looking up. Really nice lines showing the perspective and the vanishing point is the sky, like reaching for the star. I like the different variation of blue tones. and grapphic elemments of modern architectural abstract, the vertical format accentuate the heght of the building. technicall all is goos as usual. thought I like to something to break up the cleanliness, like some clouds or a bird or even a shadow or reflection of another building. Again, I'm being picky with you because I think technically you got it, it just need to be a bit more interesting, if you know what I mean. Cheers, keep up the good work, happy shooting.

Simple, clean, effective ... and blue. I like this very much. It's difficult to see how tall this building is from this abstract angle, but it isn't neccessary for enjoying the picture as it is. Very well composed. Regards, TW

Bonjour Sergio.

Josep
