Photographer’s Note
What attracted me most to this shot was the framing between the posts. She and her baby were so calm. What's funny about this is the fact that right in front of her was a mob of people staring at a lion.
Post Process:
levels, hue/saturation, burn, and border

This looks excellent as a black and white. I really like your composition. There are so many lines going every which way. Very interesting shot.

I like this shot too. great sepia tone and the wood lines everywhere are great.
I wish the far column would have been more in the shot to "frame" them a little more, but it still works.

Interesting use of natural fixtures as a frame...decent detail on there too...
Nice mood, created by the sepia tone...its quite dark..I like it.

This is a very good shot, Philip. I like the situation of indifference of this mother at what the other people look. It would have been more meaningful if she had looked only at his baby. However good work.
Good choice of sepia.
