Photographer’s Note
A view of El Paso in West Texas, leaving Mexico, & crossing the bridge across the Rio Grande. The people approaching, are returning to Mexico, probably after a days shopping in Texas.
"El Paso is a city in and the county seat of El Paso County, Texas, United States,[5] and part of the American Southwest. According to the United States Census Bureau's 2006 population estimates, the city had a population of 606,913.[2] It is the sixth-largest city in Texas and the 22nd-largest city in the United States. Its metropolitan area covers all of El Paso County. The metropolitan area has a population of 736,310.
El Paso stands on the Rio Grande (Río Bravo del Norte), across the border from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico."

Hi Chris
El Paso, all westerns and gunfighters, the image I have grown up with. Seems quite different nowadays :) Nice view and the bridge creates a nice perspective.

Hi Chris,
I saw this bridge in more documentaries already. All of them were made of the weekdays of the borderland. Likes the spectacular composition and the impressive depth, the colours and the lights are superb. Superb show from this place. Have a nice day!

Hi Chris!
This is a pretty interesting picture, specially because I hear a lot about the border USA/Mexico but I have never been there or don't see many pictures taken over that region!
Sharpness, exposure and colors are very good! Well chosen pov and very good composition!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,

Hi Chris,
The presence of the people on the sidewalk has an effect of scale. The diagonal line of the road is an asset to the composition. It is also leading our eyes toward the buildings and the mounaiun in the background which is giving depth and perspective to the photo. The quality of the light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris,
I like this composition and the very good perspective. Interesting note although the landscape here looks a bit dull, maybe too much desert.
Kind regards

It is a good perspective and POV. The people carrying the shopping bags make a good focal point and for me the name on the right tells me that a successful Portuguese businessman can be there. Silva is a very common Portuguese name but it could, and probably is, from Spanish origine. Well done.

Fine view of both countries seeing the Mexican shoppers returning home.
Very nice lighting with the shadows on the bridge and a lovely mountain backdrop.
Very informative note. Did not know that El Paso was that big.
