Photographer’s Note

This is "Swiss Street", a famous old wide boulevard full of trees and big old Southern homes in Dallas, Texas.

I thought this home to be interesting, private and hidden behind all the trees and flowers. Yet, ironically, the welcome light is on at the front door.

I, also, liked the way the trees, from the boulevard, provided a natural frame for the image.

Superb sharpness, with good symmetry between the 2 red tinted bushes, in the front. Good color & lighting contrasts. Tfs!

The greens are nicely saturated but I find there is detail lost in the house. I know it is well hidden but there could be a half to a full stop more light. The meter has been fooled by the amount of bright grey sky. see if you can apply a lighten shadows in Elements 5.
