Watchful Ghost Photo

Photographer’s Note

The U.S.S. Lexington, aka the Blue Ghost, once roamed the seas fighting hard for freedom. Decommissioned in the early 1990's, CV-16 and her retired flight crew keep a watchful eye over Corpus Christi Bay, Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.
**In response to comments concerning contrast, sharpness, and the chains, PS work was done on the following:
a. Chains and telescope were removed using PS clone, patch, healing and dodge tools.
b. Sharpness was increased only on the aircraft and crows nest (on ship) - used Sharpen tool.
c. Constrast and saturation were increased.

Very sharpen under the plane but on the sky a little bit rushed.
You can use Neat Image.
But I can't remember how will you edit the photo.

This is a beautiful photograph. Centering works. The colors are very beautiful and just perfect to foil the 'technical' nature of the subject, otherwise it would be very sterile, I think. Perspective makes this picture overall - shows the power and grandeur of this formidable machine. Congratulations on the improvement.

You did a good job on contrast and colour saturation. But I still think the picture deserve a bit more sharpness. If allow workshop for this picture, I'll be able to show you what I mean.
