Photographer’s Note
The winter sun sets, leaving a blazing palette of orange and red clouds. The silhouettes of the Bergstrom tower and a Southwest 737 provide the setting.
Austin Bergstrom served as an air force base from 1942 until converted to civilian usage in 1991. Austin Bergstrom International opened in 1999. Before that time, Mueller Airport in central Austin served as the commercial airport in the area. ABIA has 25 gates, averages over 300 flights a day, and has two runways, the longest of which is 12,248 feet.
The clouds here are indeed natural color. The only significant PP was some sharpening and resizing.

Hi Daniel,
Great colours! The sky almost looks like a painting. Nice perspective and composition.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Daniel,
Nice image showing the dark silhouettes against the warm sky dominant offering top contrast, the sky is noisy, which could be cleaned easily.
Have a nice day JY
