Photographer's Note

Taken in Shelby Farms near home. Park rangers primary job is to keep the peace. And make sure dogs stay on a leash at all time. This was a recently enacted rule.

This little dog decided a protest was in order and charged "the man".

Hi Cliff,
A nice lively photo with good colours and perfect composition. What is that U.F.O. above the ranger?
By the way, I stand on the dog's side. After all, the policeman is not on a leash too.

Yeah, he's pray, all right! Hope the hunt was successful. I think the focus is not quite where it was supposed to be.

Hi Cliff. I see the dog and I feel the same way about "the man!" ;) That dog is going to get stepped on if he's not careful! The only thing I'd do is to have the shutter speed higher for a crisper stoppage of the action. Still a very good shot Cliff.

The dog looks so vigorous and energetic--but small! The ranger's mild look is so great in contrast. An interesting and fun moment of one of life's little dramas!

Hi Cliff. What a wide diversity of great photos you have been posting lately. This is a good action scene, with the dog, the horse, the kite and people in the background. You obtained good sharpness for this quick take. Its always amazing what these tiny dogs decide to take on in life...Well seen and captured. Regards. John
