Photographer’s Note

This one is from the first day of the Beale Street Music Festival, just as the gates opened. These vendors are ready for business!

They were hoping for clear weather and a great turn-out. I think they probably sold lots of food, but the weather did not cooperate very well, so I imagine these smiles weren't as evident by the third day...

I liked the bright red color of the modular booth and the graphics of the signage. Their slogan "You Already Know It's Good Food" cracked me up! The girls were more than happy to flash their smiles at me, too - it was a great start to the fest.

Shot with my "authorized" Olympus 8080wz point n' shoot. Only "non-professional" cameras (cameras with non-removable lenses) were allowed in. I quickly tired of that little toy - I was glad I had it so I could feel out the security - but the next day we teamed up to bring in the Nikon and a long lens...

One day ( and that day may never come ) - I'd like to take a photo of the guy who issued a rule: No cameras with the exchangeable lenses allowable during the street music festival.
I'd like to post the face of that guy...
I'd like to make sure that the eyes of such guy are visible.
I'd like to read his mind...
I'd like to share the face of the guy with the whole world...
I'd like to know his name and I'd like to announce that name and his living place,and, I'd like to say:
Look at that face, people of the world...Look at THAT face...
This face belongs to a guy who issued a rule: No cameras with exchangeable lenses are allowable during the Street Music Festival (?)

For, if there is a God - then it has to be possible to find that guy and thousands of others like him who are issuing such rules .
The world has to know WHO are they... It's an imperative.
I'd like to know if that guy is able to procure a child ? I'd like to know about his sexual activities so the world would be aware that some day that guy can conceive a child... His child, who will proceed in his father footsteps...

For, if there is a God ?
