Photographer’s Note
Another from Main Street, Memphis Tennessee using the the new wide angle lens.
Photoshop channel mixer used to convert, with high greens and blues and reduced reds. I was going for some overexposure/high-contrast but used the shadows/highlights tool to recover some shadowed areas.
17mm focal length, pattern meter

Good one Clifton ! B&W pics are very charming when carefully taken, every detail taken into consideration. The idea of movement of the trolley is clear in the diagonal rail. The contrast is outstanding.
Congrats !

Good one, would have been even better if you had someone bold (like me) or with big afro standing right in front of you.
Nice composition and contrast.

yes this is a good one Cliff! I like the high contrast BW and it's a well composed scene. No complaints. But if you want to make it one step better, then follow Peter's suggestion and wait for someone who can play off the 'wigs' sign.
With street photography it's often the interaction between people and their environment that makes the shot special.
Well done!

I'm from Melbourne, Australia - bizarre to see one of our trams in a US streetscape!
Beautifully sharp image, and probably a good move to capture it in black and white. Thanks!

A well composed capture. The shadow adds depth, as does the walking pedestrian. The B&W motif is wisely chosen here. An interesting daily life shot. Well seen and well executed, Cliff.
