Photographer’s Note

This is the famous Beale Street from Memphis, Tennessee. It runs from the Mississppi River to East street, approxiamately 1.8 miles (2.9 km). This city is famous for the Blues and is known as the birth place of Rock n' Roll.

There a lots of blues bars and restaurants that line this street. Plenty of southern food, beer and music that goes non-stop till 5:00 am. You can also see lots of street performers throughout the night. Some of the famous places along the street are: The Hard Rock Cafe, Coyote Ugly, B.B. King's Blues Club, A. Shwab's, Wet Willies, Alfred's and so on. I was surprised at how fun visiting this area was.

Take care,
Tosca
