Photographer’s Note
The Gay Street Bridge serves as an important link for residents, workers and businesses in downtown Knoxville. The bridge has origins dating back to the American Civil War.
Today the bridge provides a nice pedestrian walkway as well as auto way traversing the Tennessee River.
