[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at a cabin we were renting in the Cherokee National Forest in southeastern Tennessee. The shed contains the pump and well housing to supply water to the cabin. My wife and I spent a week exploring the area, and timed it perfectly to see the autumn colors.

Great picture Robert. The colours are brilliant - typical autumn colours. These colours are then reflected in the colour of the shed and of the ground. I like the composition - the way the eye is drawn up to the shed by firstly the seat and then the path.

nice colors; simple and efficace subject.

This is really nice. I really love the autumn scenary in this picture. Maybe it should be cropped tighter on the top to get rid of the sky.

I'm always in trouble with finding the right color for the frame with this kind of pictures but I think you managed it quite well!

Very bucolic atmosphere..

best,
anton

This is the type of subject that I failed to find during the last few days. I am from Houston, returned to the Talimena and the NE area of Arkansas where the state travel site "confirmed" as "currently has strong fall foliage". I ended up in Memphis now, "enjoying" the rain, and will be leaving tomorrow. If I knew you sooner, I may be lucky to learn your note about Cherokee National Forest.
You've got a good one. If this was mine, I may try to ask the boy to hide behind the cabin, and have a black frame instead of the color of the leaves. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic place, Robert, it is certainly marvellous to walk around that area. Nice composition, very good colours and perspective, a very good one!

Great picture, I like the color of the cabin and the autumn colors. The frame is also excellent.

The use of a foreground is really nice. The colors are wonderful. I really like it !

Very nice autumn colors. I really like this pathway between the shed and the "bench ??" in a diagonal line, giving depth to this pic.
I first thought "this" was the cabin you rented (lol) but reading your note a second time I realized it was only the shed for the water pump.. Maybe I'm already thinking of next Friday(Nov 13) where I will go to for the weekend in the Sutton area where their will be only a cabin the size of a big kitchen with no running water or electricity I was said. I hope it's as nice and simple as this one.
