Photographer’s Note
Finally after driving through Chattanooga over and over again over the years I finally took the time to see what all the hoopla was about over Ruby Falls. It is truly a spectacular wonder of nature but unfortunately the tours are more like cattle drives and they only give you about 3 minutes for your turn to see the falls....and that's after nearly and hour of standing in line. Serious photographers are in serious competition with the camera phone and the point-and-shoot crowd and it can really be a challenge to get a decent shot.
In order for me to get any photos of value I literally had to break several rules, sneak away from my particular tour and get the jump on the tour coming in after mine, thereby upsetting the Ruby Falls staff. My guess is that they are over it by now so it actually ended up a win-win situation after all.

Hello Gregory
This is just magical!
I don't know the detail about this place, but I must admit that it looks awsome. (Yes, I do me the expression of "awsome" as in "I was struck with awe")
A slight lack of focus creates a unreal sensation of this place, and combined with the spectacular lighting and the colour gradients this photo makes for a masterpiece.
Thank you for sharing.
Odd Jarle
