Photographer's Note
I was walking back to my car after shooting this church which is located in the Cades Cove area of the Smoky Mountains, when I turned around and saw the church bathed in the most amazing light emerging through the storm clouds.
I hope I have managed to capture a fraction of the amazing scenery that lasted only a few moments until the clouds moved to cover the sun again.
Almost all my pictures, so this included, have minimal post processing. So just some adjustments of the exposure, saturation, contrast and sharpening were applied in Aperture.

Yo Nikos!
Yes, I agree the sunlight radiating through the tree's onto dirt in front of the church is a nice touch. I especially like the wide angle and the tree in the foreground leaning to the left of the church.
Good work for not needing post processing and using your camera to the best of it's ability.
Cheers

Hi Nikos. yes, the church looks great, but even more striking is the foreground which looks like a copper sheet that has been shaped to reflect the light.Excellent retention of details against a bright sky. Well done. Regards. Klaudio.
