This shot was taken last spring, but these are already blooming here again. Spring comes very early to South Carolina. Trees, daffodils, flowering bushes are ALL in bloom already and have been for quite a few days. My boys and I have already bought flower seeds and a tray to start them in and we are ready to begin gardening.

Hello Shelly

It is a photographic field which did not know about yourself. But I must say that what you have done very well, with great sharpness, brightness and contrast.

The white shades are very well treated, and the greens stand out dramatically in the composition. Certainly it is an excellent job.

John

Hi Shelly,

Hi Shelly,

Good capture of the micro spring. i was wondering how come the leaves are on the trees so early. I aslo noticed the signs of early spring here in Scotland too. The flowers are on but the leaves are still wee bit far.
Well done

Hi dear Shelly,

perfect spring shot, like recently one with a honeybee. I like both very much. Your Nikon and your soul make a good team. Thank you very much, warm regards,

Hi Shelly,
Beautiful crisp clear colors to this fine spring time macro. The white blooms contrast brilliantly with the lush green leafs. The muted background greatly highlights the lovely scene.

Hey Shelly
It's nice to see spring emerging. I saw my first daffodil blooming today but the weather here has not warmed uo too much yet. This is a very pleasing macro of an apple blossom I think. The BG is nicely blurred.

Hi Shelly, Beautifully captured, the sharp focus & shallow DOF really assist the flowers to stand-out, with a 3D effect, the light is superb & the detail excellent, a great close piece of work, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Shelly! Amazing flowers you have here. The plants and in the GR from now have bloomed and the pictures of nature are amazing! I unfortunately in TE, went up certain with bloomed field flowers but me him they lowered. I thank for your wishes. If I had email your him I would post! I greet also your good spring.
Georgios

Shelly, you're ahead of us, but I'm certainly looking forward to this. After 80 inches of snow this winter, including a dusting this morning, we crossed 50°F today for the first time in a very long time.

Anyway, hats off to you and spring. Great lighting on this macro and wonderful, crisp sharpness.

Hi Shelly,
Spring has arrived! and this is a lovely image to welcome the season. Great macro shot, lovely contrasts and composition.
Cheers,
Claire

This is gorgeous Shelly. I always like white flowers against the green background and you have delivered this one in excellent sharpness, details and pleasant cropping. Regards. Jusni

Bonjour, ma très bonne amie Shelly,
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.

Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.

Ces quelques vers pour rendre hommage à cette belle image qui fleure bon le printemps.
Amitiés sincères.
Philippe

Hi Dearest Shelly
A nice hope for a good spring; very good DOF setting on the flowers and good exposure management.
Sincères amitiés.

Hello Shelly,

This is a fabulous close-up image. Along with the photographer who produced the image, the 85-mm lens is impressive for its fidelity. I will recommend seeing your photograph to a friend who had asked about my advice is selecting a macro lens.

Warm regards, Shelly, enjoy what is left of Sunday. For our friends in Europe, it is already Sunday evening. It the Far East, it is Monday morning.

Hi Shelly,

i am a keen gardener so I love such photos. Wonderful spring photo of something I do not know. I am looking forward to see my flowering trees. I have already forsytia (in yellow, of course) and Daphne mezereum (white, not red). I am waiting for magnolias.

Regards

Hi Shelly,
In Denver we are about two months away from this type of scene. We could still get another big snowstorm or two within the next few weeks. You created a gorgeous macro type of photograph which is beautiful to look at and is a great introduction to Spring (today is the first day of Spring as a matter of fact). Superb work!
Stan

Oh Shelly, I am so ready for spring. Enough of the cold weather.
I really like the result here. It's a fine macro. I love the details in the flowers.
