Photographer’s Note

This is one of the tiny birds I've managed to attract with the sunflower seeds, suet cakes and bird feed I've scattered around my yard. At first they seemed very timid and now I stand outside right by the feeders and they STILL show up. Today, I finally saw another bluebird (when I didn't have my camera, of course) and it wouldn't come near me anyway. Wretched things. :)))

Very nice capture ! Good layout, nice compo with blurred background and good focus on this nice cute bird. It looks like thistle finch, but isn't.

Wonderfully graphic capture of this cubby carrot topped visitor.
The chain link fence makes for a beautiful geometric frame to this lovely bit of nature.

This is so cute! It almost looks as if he was posing for you. Probably saying thanks for all the yummy stuff you feed them.
Excellent composition and sharpness. The grey squares of the fence give a nice contrast to the colourful bird - nature vs. "civilization", you could say...
