Photographer’s Note
Another view of the Congeree River from Riverwalk Park. It's such a broad river and the boulders that dot the river are a wonderful place to relax and catch some sun, swim. In nice weather you can see people out in the middle enjoying the weather and picnicking. Although he's too far away to see well in this shot, there's a guy and his dog on one of the boulders and I guess he rode a large inner-tube to get there.

Lovely, Shelly! But my first thought was "strange creature with fishy mouth open - could it be a congar eel?" :)) :))
The minimaple (?) in fg is perfectly placed; rocks perfectly reproduced.
Glad you had such a lovely expedition last weekend, hope you have another tomorrow.
Warm wishes,
Winifred

Hello Shelly,
Gorgeous shot of the Gongeree River. It is a little evocative of Great Falls on the Potomac, in the width and surrounding rugged rocks. I like the inclusion of the rocks in the foreground in establishing the depth. The rather fast shutter speed has frozen the flowing water. Warm regards and have a good Sunday.

Hi Shelly,
Another marvelous river landscape with the lovely blue and white waters and the brilliant bits of contrasting green.
The rocky foreground serves this image well drawing the eye towards the magnificent rapids.
Regards, Tom
P.S. You sent us some flip flop weather this wkend with a high of 93 and a promise of the same tomorrow.

Hi dearest friend
Very nice view on this river with the right whale rock.
Interesting deep foreground.
Only the sound of the runing waters is missing.
Best regards et sincères amitiés.

Hi Shelly:
It is a great landscape, and although I like the composition a lot from your point of view, I believe that there is an excess of sharpness or contrast.
The wooded setting is wonderful, I like to enjoy a well site, in a complete calm. Regards from Colombia.

Hello Shelly,
This river looks nicely due to the picturesque boulders, green forest, clear water and also due to the very good composition, beautiful foreground and perfect quality of the capturing. Great job!
Best regards,
Sergiy
